Let me explain

Jamal Ladipo, a Nigerian-British multidisciplinary artist/designer. Coming from a classical and jazz music background Jamal was exposed to many different mediums of expression. In brief, classical music taught him to understand the theory that is at play when creating impressive works. While through Jazz was taught to break those rules with interesting choices. To be more reactionary while at play.

Moving to Canada at an early age allowed Jamal to explore other forms of creativity such as; skateboarding, illustration and writing. This was adapting to the change in environment by engaging in more personal introspective projects.

Now being able to blend the two, Jamal is able to offer cerebral soundscapes through the use of djing, as well as convey thoughts and ideas through mixed media, words and illustrations.
